Maxi Necklaces

As promised, below some closes on the maxi necklaces and bracelets presented in the Elle Fashion show last weekend in Brazil. I just loved them!!! Extremely colorful, and will be great composing with simple and/or flashy spring/summer dresses and T-shirts (in addition to the beach clothes showed in the Fashion Show). Remember that maxi necklaces are not only a tendency but in my opinion they “came to stay”. Since Cleopatra, they have been used and are an amazing accessory to the outfit, complementing a perfect and stunning look!!! I loved the ones like tattoo!!!! Aren’t they pretty sensual???

Original Gift To Mother’s Day - New Headboard Made by Yourself Especially for Her

Are you without money and/or idea for this mother day? Why don’t you give her a “made by yourself” gift? She will love it and I am sure it will have a much more special meaning to her than a bought one.

By glancing into different magazines and sites, I saw an article about hand-made (and most important easily hand-made) headboard. Do you have an old door? Make a patina over it (or finish it with a satin color of her preference) and use it as your mother’s headboard. Don’t you have a door……….. how about an unused fence? It can also be the solution, as paint frames, curtain hangers, tissues and so forth so on. See below some pictures that give some ideas of what you can make by yourself.

I can tell you that I made by myself the headboard of my department and I love the results and also to see it and know that it is unique My favorite one is the one with the line lights surrounding it. Very romantic, she can change the tissue whenever she wants ….to wash, to remodel, etc and extremely easy (just have to fix the curtain hanger on the wall and place the lights over it, you can use those lights for Christmas trees that you probably have there at your home with no use in May…….jejejeje!!!) . What do you think? Give a try and surprise your mother. She deserves it, isn’t she?

We have been seeing lots of celebrities’ pictures where they are wearing high-low dresses, skirts, T-shirts and even coats. Yes, this is a tendency!!!! The high-low style is on the street and you can find them in most fashion stores. They can make a perfect combination with almost all styles and are great to use with leggings, boots or during a special event. You can find from casual to very ellegant models and they can pretty well hide those undesirable located fat, if necessary. Choose yours and go to the glamour!!!!

As you all know, I love to have my nails done in a non-conventional way. I have already told you about painting it in a French style but instead of the traditional white at the border and nude as the basis, you can use your own imagination and combine strong and dark colors, such as black and red, blue and green, pink and red. You can also invert colors on hands and foot, such as black as basis and red at the border for your hand and red as the basis and black at the border for your foot. I always do that and the effect is very colorful and different. Suggested Look - March, 14th (customized shoes and shorts)

A great way to build your own style is customizing. In the suggested look for today I am showing for you a pair of shoes and a shorts that I simply love!! They were customized by my dear godmother some time ago and I always feel good by using them, because both reflect my way of being (glamorous and bright, jejeje!!!) and I know they are unique. You can also try to customize your own clothes and show up your style, because trends are for a season, a year, or so, but your style is the way you choose to communicate and show yourself to others.

Manicure in accordance with your clothes and latest trends??

Going every week to have our nails cared is almost a ritual to all of us. Nothing worst than going to a meeting (it doesn’t matter if it is business or social) with rest of nail polish or with our hands with no care. Today, I come to show a technique that is making success around the world. Having nails done is not enough anymore. We want them to be decorated, different, special. Today in the market you can find special decoration for brides and also decoration following tendencies. I tried the animal printed style this week. See the results below and also explore the internet search engine to look for much more ideas on how to decorate and innovate, having everybody looking to your hands all the time.
The technique that was used on my hands is very simple. You choose the color of the nail polish to be used as the basis (in my case I used a gray color), and then the manicurist use over it a special nail polish that can be white, black or blue (in my case it was black) and paint over the basis. This top cover will react with the basis and make the design you can see in the pictures. That simple!!! After this you only need the shine nail polish to the perfect finishing and you are ready to look astonishing. How do you like it?

Great Shoes to grab the attention and make us feel glamorous!!!

I have never known a woman who doesn’t like shoes. We are always glancing at store windows for new look, new designs, and that one that grab the attention of everybody else. The latest releases, the wide broad variety of designs, material and colors, such as animal printed, high heels, platforms with adjustable buckles, stylish ankle cuffs, flip-flops and crocs give us the perfect excuse to add a new one to our collection. The fact is that to wear a great shoe makes us feel more confident, more sensual, more comfortable, and in case of sadness, nothing better than give ourselves some of those beautiful pieces we see when visiting a mall.
Distance and lack of time to buy are not an excuse anymore, because we have plenty of options to buy and/or research through the internet and find that perfect match to your cloth, your birthday, your wedding, etc. We have gone through internet and separated some of those precious items for you and hope you like the collection. They are from China, Brazil, USA, Europe, so forth and so one, but the most important is that you can buy most of them from the comfort of home. Enjoy!!!!!

Oscars 2012 - Pure Glamour!!!!!

It was pure glamour!!!!! The Oscars 2012 was a show in terms of elegance and tendencies, as we can see in this small slide show. I have chosen the looks I liked the most and/or that I believe represent tendencies. Of course I would love any of them in my closet but for sure if I had to pick just one, it would be the Glamorous dress of Jennifer Lopez. How about you?

Anyway my highlights are:

-    Off-white is still a must have, it is “in” and it was a bet for several celebrities such as Ronney Mara, Milla Jovovich and Gwyneth Paltrow

-    The glamour and passion intrinsic in the red color is always a tendency and it was the right choice of Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams and others

-    Silver, gold and metallic colors is a bet in the right (take a look on the beautiful Stacy Kleiber with George Clooney and Meryl Streep, among others)

-    Choose the look that better fits to your body and valorize your strengths (Jennifer Lopez was spectacular In that dress and Michelle Williams made it right with that small skirt to give volume to her hips)

-    The siren look is also “in” and it is very feminine and sensual, no need to say a word after seeing the look of Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez

-    The minimalism in terms of jewels was noticed with lots of celebrities wearing nothing or only a well chosen and powerful piece of it

-    Do not get so crazy to go on a diet. In my opinion, the always awesome Angelina Jolie was too skinny, although still pretty

Hydrate your hair to have it long and luminous

I have spent years and years of my life trying to have my hair as long as I could, but the longer it got, the broken and with no vitality it got also. So, the solution was to cut to get strengthen as this was a continuous never-ending cycle.

But then, I have heard the best solution to get my hair longer was to have it hydrated…… I thought what has hydration to do with longer hair? Should it be true? But following my natural curiosity but not too much confident I decided to create a hydration routine to my hair and follow it religiously, instead of only once a while. The results…………….. longer, luminous and much healthier. The reason is that your hair get stronger, so it is able to better resist to natural events such as sun, wind, sea and pool water, as well as to chemical process we are used to, such as color changes, hair drier, iron plates, so forth or so on. If you have same problem, I recommend you to invest and build a hydration routine. My one includes one a week mask intense, I also replaced the conditioner for a mask that can be used every shower and adopted the habit that prior to apply the mask, I dry a little bit my hair with a towel, so the treatment cream has a much more powerful penetration action. I use serum everyday to go out and sleep with a treatment leave-on on my hair. I also use those 03 minutes treatment after the conditioner (now the mask) and the heat protection product before using the hair drier. All together gave me a stronger, luminous and guess what…….longer hair!!!! Build your own routine with your hair stylish professional and enjoy the improvements you will see in the beauty of your hair!!!

Argain Oil for your hair, skin and nails

If you are struggling to have tender, brilliant and with no frizz hair, or if you lose hair because they are not enough strong to resist to the heat of hair drier and iron plate, below you can find some tips so you can recover your hair, even though you are used to chemicals and other treatments, but the most important comment here is to introduce you to the Argain Oil. Beautiful eyelashes are powerful way to feel confident and sensual. To get voluminous lashes we have several available tools such as false eyelashes, curled eyelashes, and so on. But for sure one of the most powerful tool I have ever seen is Rapidlash.
