Mother's Day Gift Idea - Pendant with Salt and Pepper

Another great idea for Mother’s Day is the pendant with barbecue salt. I was gifted one (from my mother…..jajajaja) and I just love it. Some are only with salt, other are with salt and pepper but both are for the same purpose……as an amulet to eliminate negative energy that people can bring to you, such as envy, “bad eye”, resentment, bitterness, jealously, etc.

Original Gift To Mother’s Day - New Headboard Made by Yourself Especially for Her

Are you without money and/or idea for this mother day? Why don’t you give her a “made by yourself” gift? She will love it and I am sure it will have a much more special meaning to her than a bought one.

By glancing into different magazines and sites, I saw an article about hand-made (and most important easily hand-made) headboard. Do you have an old door? Make a patina over it (or finish it with a satin color of her preference) and use it as your mother’s headboard. Don’t you have a door……….. how about an unused fence? It can also be the solution, as paint frames, curtain hangers, tissues and so forth so on. See below some pictures that give some ideas of what you can make by yourself.

I can tell you that I made by myself the headboard of my department and I love the results and also to see it and know that it is unique My favorite one is the one with the line lights surrounding it. Very romantic, she can change the tissue whenever she wants ….to wash, to remodel, etc and extremely easy (just have to fix the curtain hanger on the wall and place the lights over it, you can use those lights for Christmas trees that you probably have there at your home with no use in May…….jejejeje!!!) . What do you think? Give a try and surprise your mother. She deserves it, isn’t she?
